Acupuncture
Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years to relieve pain, improve degeneration, and assist in recovery from injury. It is difficult to find a veterinarian that is actually professionally trained and Certified in Veterinary Acupuncture, and some veterinarians offer this treatment without completing accredited professional training. At Alpine Animal Clinic we have one of very few veterinarians actually Certified in Veterinary Acupuncture, Dr. Michelle Richardson. She can design a program with you for your dog to relieve pain and assist in rehabilitation after injury or nerve damage. Dr. Richardson is also in Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapy and can work closely with you and your dog's surgeon to create the best program for getting your dog back in to action.
