Microchip ID

line

A microchip implant placed under the skin of your dog or cat can help identify your pet if they become lost.  The chips are about the size of a large grain of rice, and carry a unique signal that will be detected by virtually all animal shelters and veterinary hospitals, when they bring a lost pet into their facility.   They compare this signal against a national database to identify the pet's owner, and contact the owner to let them know their pet is safe.

This quick and simple procedure adds an additional layer of protection beyond dog and cat tags which often become lost when your pet is separated from you.
