Dr. Heidi Wampler
Medical Director
Dr. Wampler built and opened Alpine Animal Clinic in 2008, creating Helena's first AAHA accredited hospital for the highest standard of care available today. Her vision creates a supportive, friendly and professional environment throughout our team and veterinary community, and provides a broad scope of services available to pets throughout our region and Montana.

Dr. Jenny Janitell, incoming Medical Director
Dr. Janitell has been chosen specifically by Dr. Heidi Wampler and our doctor team to lead Alpine Animal Clinic into the future. As Dr. Wampler slows down her practice and steps away from leading the hospital she founded and built in 2008, Dr. Janitell will lead Alpine Animal Clinic as incoming Medical Director, formally taking over in March 2024. Dr. Janitell's exceptional quality and standards of care, extensive leadership experience, and commitment to excellence makes her the best choice possible to lead our large hospital. Dr. Janitell's background serving as Adjunct Professor to WSU's Vet Med preceptorship program for students fits perfectly with Alpine's continued commitment to training tomorrow's veterinary professionals via internships, externships and hands-on training with our exceptional team, preparing them to be tomorrow's leaders in medicine.
Congratulations, Dr. Janitell!
